  • What kind of "diet" is this?"
    5 Squares is a healthy eating program that eliminates empty calories hidden in foods such as wheat and sugar. It is used not only for weight loss, but for building lean muscle mass and for increasing performance by professional athletes and fitness competitors. 5 squares is more a vehicle to help individuals make healthy lifestyle changes.
  • How much weight will I lose?
    Every individual is different – one can expect to lose the most amount of weight in the first week. Ninety-eight percent of that is “water-weight”. Going forward, a healthy weight loss should be expected (approximately 1 ½-3 pounds per week). When you lose too much weight, too fast, you will actually lose muscle, which will then impede future weight loss. We advise you to contact us if your weight loss exceeds this healthy average. Your nutritional consultant will most likely adjust your calories.
  • Do I have to do it everyday?
    The beauty of 5 squares is that it is a flexible program individually tailored to suit your lifestyle; anywhere from 2-7 days per week is available.
  • Can I just try it?
    Absolutely! You can start out with 3-7 days with no commitment.
  • What do I do if I don't like certain food?
    Not a problem! Because 5 squares is such a personalized service, your nutritional consultant can go over the foods you do not want to eat (whether it’s chicken or chickpeas) and with hundreds of menu options to choose from, it is easy to find a nutritionally sound substitution – the next best thing to having your own personal chef. Most clients however, prefer to choose their own meals. This gives the control back to you which aides in success.
  • What if I'm allergic to certain foods?
    We make an effort to support all dietary exclusions. For example, if you have an aversion to onions and prefer to have us select your meals, we eliminate the onions. It's that simple! If you have life threatening allergy, we do not recommend this program for you.
  • How can I pay?
    We accept Visa, MasterCard and American Express.
  • Do I have to be awake to accept my delivery?
    Definitely not! Our delivery representative will leave your insulated bag right at your front door. Because the foods are packed in ice, they are perfect to bring in first thing in the morning. However, we do require a secure area to drop your bag. Our deliveries are made in the overnight hours so if you live an a building that does not have a doorman, we will require a key. Keep in mind our drops are made each evening, Sunday night through Thursday night.
  • How do I cancel my program?
    To cancel a subscription, we simply require a 3 delivery day notice. Please email our office at When we process your request, we will send you a confirmation of your last delivery date. At that time you can schedule a final cooler pick up or keep it for future orders.
